Hør den her (OBS: åbner i samme vindue.

EXTRACT:

It was quiet at the cemetery. Only the scream of the whizzing wind broke the silence and made the loose brown leaves rustle like a calming death rattle. The trees’ naked branches scratched against the tall, tattered cemetery wall, while the unclosed gate was screaming with the sound of long sharp nails scratching slowly down a green old school board.

The short story is about a family in solution. James and Celia have just got a divorce and James has moved all his stuff, but he can't get used to the fact that he won't have his girls around every day anymore. One night he shows up on his old residence - way too drunk to drive the car he arrived in. He wants Celia and the girls back, but a thoughtless moment changes EVERYTHING for the whole family!

The short story is also written as a screenplay and I would love to make it into a short film one day. I submitted the short story to a writers contest and it made it all the way to the quarter final, but unfortunately no further than that.

I did get pretty good feedback though, which you can read HERE (ATT! It will open in the same window. To avoid that, right-click on the link and chose "open in a new tab" or "open in a new window").
